What is this all about?
Our founder, Travis Howey was not always the ice cream wizard that he is today. For a long time, he didn’t know what to do. Bouncing around between various jobs. But one fateful day, his brother, Peter, invited him on a trip to Chicago, and it was there that he learned his love for all things ice cream.

The Inspiration
While in Chicago, the brothers went to a chain of boutique ice cream parlors called Jenis Splendid Ice Creams. It was there that the love for ice cream began. Travis immediately bought the recipe book and began doing his own research and experimentation figuring out how to improve on the already perfect.
Why should you care?
There are hundreds of brands of ice cream in the world. The majority of ice cream is very much the same thing. You have milk, cream, sugar, and some sort of thickening agent. Ours is no different than those other people. What sets us apart is the dedication not only to the craft of ice cream, but the dedication to our employees and our communities.
